Even the Toughest Roof is Prone to Damage
Our certified representatives inspect your home for signs of storm damage not visible to an untrained eye. Once on site, our representatives are able to determine if an insurance claim can be filed.
Roofs are the first defense against the elements of nature, and shingles, wear down over time. Excessive wind, rain, sleet, hail, falling limbs, pest infestation, malfunctioning gutters, and improper installation procedures… any of these can lead to roof system failures.
Periodic Roof Inspections Save Time and Money
Roofing manufacturers’ warranties for asphalt shingles usually range from 20 to 30 years, but coverage only applies to defects and premature aging. That’s why Everest Construction Group advises clients to have their roof inspected periodically.
Issues Examined in an Everest Inspection:
- Damage from strong winds and precipitation
- Gutter drainage performance, angle and alignment
- Algae, mold, and fungal growth
- Cracking and brittleness from overexposure to UV rays
- Improper installation from a previous roofing contractor
- Effects of general aging
- Warping which indicates issues with the roof decking
- Missing shingles exposing the roof underlayment
- Fallen limbs
- Prolonged contact to vegetation adjacent the home
